As an independent nonprofit arts organization,
we depend on your support.

Dear Friend,

We need your help! Thousands of films exclusively owned by The National Center for Jewish Film are in critical need of rescue, preservation and digitization.

Restoration of 35mm, 16mm & 8mm film is extremely costly. Without your support, these rapidly deteriorating moving images will fade into history.

The Center’s archive collection of 15,000 reels of film with Jewish content is the world’s largest outside of Israel. NCJF has preserved hundreds of endangered “orphan” films, the earliest from 1903. These rare films are now screening worldwide and are invaluable components in hundreds of new documentaries, educational projects and museum exhibitions.

Since 1976, NCJF has been a world leader in the collection, distribution and exhibition of films that document the diversity and vibrancy of Jewish life and culture.

Become a Reel Funder donor with as generous a gift as your circumstances permit. You can save these precious documents for future generations.
